Carol Urton

Senior Director, Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

Carol Urton is the Director of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability for Experian’s North America Region that includes the U.S., Canada, Chile and Costa Rica. She is responsible for Experian’s community investment  and sustainability strategies that include, gift-in-kind projects, nonprofit grant management, corporate donations, employee donation and matching programs. She also leads the Heart of Experian and ERG Community Champions.

Carol leads Experian’s social innovation work in North America, manages the Experian Hardship Fund, coordinates the region’s disaster relief responses and supports Experian’s diversity and inclusion efforts.

Carol also works on a global team that supports Experian’s vision of creating a better tomorrow through Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. She serves on a global committee for the advancement of Experian’s commitment to financial health for all. Experian has over 17,000 employees in 36 countries around the world.

Carol speaks regularly both professionally and personally. She is a published author, accomplished speaker and certified professional coach, whose goal is to inspire people to achieve their full potential despite hardships in life.  

Carol holds a B.A. in Sociology from the California State University, Bakersfield and resides in Austin, TX.
