JA of Central Texas' programs are designed to teach students in grades K-12 about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship through experiential, hands-on programs. Through partnerships with the business and education communities, we bring academics to life by creating meaningful learning experiences. Together, we are transforming education to break down traditional barriers and give every student unparalleled connectivity to the business world, to fuel students' passion for future success, and energize students around academics and the power of their education.
Our unique approach allows volunteers from the community to deliver our curriculum while sharing their experiences with students. THE DETAILS OF DESIGN
All JA programs align with TEKS Performance Standards and Common Core Standards. The curriculum is designed in a blended-learning format that it is easily transferable and replicable for schools, school systems, and states. All learning solutions are developed and reviewed by education and business experts and go through rounds of alpha and beta testing prior to launch. The impact is measurable, too. Students who participate in Junior Achievement programs demonstrate a significant understanding of economics and business concepts.
