JA Finance Park
JA Finance Park® is an innovation in education designed to prepare youth for success in the adult world. Students will learn what’s possible for their future if they take control of their financial future. This program helps students build a foundation upon which they can make intelligent lifelong financial decisions, including those related to income, expenses, savings, and credit.
This learning experience combines in-class learning from the educator with JA curriculum and a field trip to work with volunteers from the business community at JA Finance Park held at ACC Highland Campus.
The Day at JA Finance Park
"Who will I become?”
Upon entering the event, each student is given a unique "life situation" - a personal profile with the details of their adult life like the one on the left.
Under the guidance of their volunteer students will visit a series of kiosk representing various companies like the grocery store or the bank to have a hands on experience making financial choices to learn the consequences and benefits of their decisions.
