JA Finance Park helps students build a foundation upon which they can make intelligent lifelong financial decisions, including those related to income, expenses, savings, and credit.

9:00-9:30 AM, Student Arrival
11:30-12:00 PM, Lunch (Pizza lunch provided.)

About JA Finance Park
JA Finance Park combines 6-12 educator led, classroom-based JA lessons with a hands-on budgeting simulation at the in person field trip to JA Finance Park mobile hosted at a higher learning institution.
JA Finance Park has been so successful with school districts around Texas. Last school year we launched JA Finance Park at the Make It Center at ACC Highland Campus and students loved participating in the simulation. We are thrilled to offer this opportunity again to our Central Texas schools - all at no cost to the schools. because of our generous Partners
JA’s Turnkey Solution
JA’s unique JA Finance Park classroom is an easy solution for schools to implement.
All the schools or educators need to do is enroll and request the buses - JA handles the rest.
JA will provide:
JA’s Proven Curriculum - The educator can teach their 12 class the lessons anyway that works best for their students.
Educator Training - On-site training at the educator’s schools
On-going support - JA staff will be ready to assist and answer any question while you are implementing the lessons
Coordinate the field trip to JA Finance Park at ACC
Coordinate corporate and community volunteers to mentor your students during the simulation JA FinancePark field trip at ACC Highland Campus
Provide a pizza lunch and drinks for all of the students
The Day at JA Finance Park
"Who will I become?"
Upon entering the event, each student will be greeted and placed with a mentor at a table. They will be given a unique "life situation" - a personal profile with the details of their adult life like the one here.
Students then will visit each kiosk to learn about budgeting areas, make spending choice, and discover how to spend within their means.
